<br />ORODWU <br /> <br />..?2"Q~-5 ~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE IN THE FY 2009-2010 BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND THE SUM OF $5,250 ALLOCATED BY THE <br />VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH, MENTAL RETARDATION <br />AND SUBST ANCE ABUSE SERVICES TO THE PORTSMOUTH <br />DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEAL THCARE SERVICES TO FUND A <br />PORTION OF THE COST FOR OBTAINING GUARDIANSHIP FOR FIVE <br />INDIVIDUALS WITH A DIAGNOSIS OF MENTAL RETARDATION. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1, That the sum of $5,250 allocated to the Portsmouth Department of <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services by the Virginia Department of Mental Health, Mental <br />Retardation, and Substance Abuse Services is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund, <br /> <br />2, That said funds shall be used to fund a portion of the costs associated with <br />obtaining guardianship for five individuals with a diagnosis of mental retardation. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services Fund are increased by $5,250. <br /> <br />4, That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 9, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
