<br />ORDlNA <br /> <br />IIO.,~~~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING ADDITIONAL U.S. DEPARTMENT OF <br />HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT GRANTS OF $15,061 IN <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CDBG) FUNDS <br />AND $80,071 IN HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM (HOME) <br />FUNDS AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2009-2010 <br />COMMUNITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT FUND. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That since the adoption of the City's FY 2009-2010 budget, the City has <br />been notified of the award of additional grant funds totaling $95,132 by the U,S. <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), <br /> <br />2. That the City Council accepts said grants of $15,061 in Community <br />Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) funds and $80,071 in Home Investment <br />Partnerships Program (HOME) funds and appropriates said funds in the FY 2009-2010 <br />Community Planning and Development Fund, <br /> <br />3. That revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Community Planning and <br />Development Fund are increased by a total of $95, 132. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on May 26, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
