<br />ORDINANCE HO~~~.~}. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH, MENTAL <br />RETARDATION, AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID SUM IN THE FY 2007-2008 BEHAVIORAL HEAL THCARE SERVICES <br />FUND OPERATING BUDGET TO HELP FUND SERVICES FOR CITY <br />RESIDENTS FOUND NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts a grant award of$l ,000 from the Virginia <br />Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Substance Abuse Services to help <br />fund services to be provided by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare Services to City <br />residents found Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity. <br /> <br />2. That no local match is required for the grant. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenue in the FY 2007-2008 Behavioral Healthcare Services <br />Fund Operating Budget is increased by $1,000, and that said amount is appropriated in the <br />FY 2007-2008 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund Operating Budget. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />April 8, 2008. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
