<br />ORDINANCE IOc~~~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING IN THE FY 2008-2009 GRANTS FUND <br />GRANT MONIES IN THE AMOUNT OF $182,500 RECEIVED FROM THE <br />OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF THE SUPREME COURT OF <br />VIRGINIA FOR THE PORTSMOUTH ADULT DRUG COURT PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the grant monies in the amount of $182,500 received from the Office <br />of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia are hereby appropriated in <br />the FY 2008-2009 Grants Fund. <br /> <br />2. The said funds shall be used by the Third Judicial Circuit Court for the <br />Portsmouth Adult Drug Court. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2008-2009 Grants Fund are increased <br />by $182,500. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 22, 2008. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
