<br />ORDiNANCr 1W..~~,8-52~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,542 <br />FROM THE BUSINESS CONSORTIUM FOR THE ARTS AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2008-2009 GRANTS FUND <br />FOR THE OUTDOOR SCULPTURE COMPETITION AND EXHIBITION <br />A T THE COURTHOUSE GALLERIES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts a grant in the amount of <br />$10,542 from the Business Consortium for the Arts and appropriates said amount <br />in the FY 2008-2009 Grants Fund for use by the Department of Museums for the <br />()utdoor Sculpture Competition and Exhibition at the Courthouse Galleries. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2008-2009 Grants <br />Fund is increased by $10,542. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />meeting held on July 22, 2008. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
