<br />IJIWIWJ~.;~: R.~W?~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 16 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006) BY AMENDING ~ 16-64 THEREOF AND BY <br />AMENDING APPENDIX A THEREOF TO INCREASE MONTHLY RATES FOR <br />TRASH AND GARBAGE DISPOSAL. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That Ii 16-64 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) be <br />amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 16-64. Monthly rates for collection and disposal of trash and garbage; <br />generally. <br /> <br />The service charge for the collection and disposal of trash and garbage shall be at <br />the rate of $26.00 per month. The charges imposed under this section shall be billed with <br />the statement rendered for water and sewer charges. <br /> <br />2. That Appendix A, "Fee Schedule," be amended as follows: <br /> <br />Cude <br />See/iun <br /> <br />16-64 <br /> <br />Rates for dwelling units. per dwelling unit, per month <br /> <br />$26.00 <br /> <br />2007. <br /> <br />3.
