<br />URDINANCE NO.2007-113 <br />~~"_.- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $740,237 IN THE FY 2007-2008 <br />GENERAL FUND OPERATING BUDGET AND $428,934 IN THE 2007-2008 <br />GRANTS FUND FOR ADDITIONAL OPERATING COSTS AND <br />REIMBURSEMENT OF CERTAIN GRANT FUNDS EXPENDED BY THE <br />OFFICE OF THE COMMONWEALTH ATTORNEY, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia that: <br /> <br />1. The sum of $740,237 is hereby appropriated in the FY 2007-2008 General <br />Fund Operating Budget and $428,934 in the 2007-2008 Grants Fund to be used for <br />additional operating costs and to reimburse certain grant funds expended by the Office of <br />the Commonwealth's Attorney. <br /> <br />2. The sources of said appropriation shall be $447,300 allocated for said <br />purpose by the State Compensation Board, $38,119 of unappropriated federal forfeiture <br />funds, and $683,752 from previously unappropriated City revenues. <br /> <br />3. This ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on December 11, 2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
