<br />a minimum of two spaces per residential unit within the proposed development. The off-street <br />parking standards in Division 3 of this article shall apply if the applicant does not submit an <br />Alternative Parking Plan. Reductions in parking may be achieved within the Alternative Parking <br />Plan by the methods listed below. A single use may employ one or more of the listed methods. <br /> <br />( I) Shared Parking. Requests for shared parking shall comply with all of the <br />foll'lwing standards: <br /> <br />a. I"ocated Within 500 Linear Fcet. Shared parkin~ spaces shall be located <br />within five hundred (500) lincar feet of the primary entrance of all uses <br />served, unless remote parking shuttle bus servicc is provided. Shared <br />parking spaces shall not be separated from the use they serve by an arterial <br />or collector road. In addition. adequate and safe pedestrian access must be <br />provided Irom and to the shared parking areas. <br /> <br />b. Same or More Intensive Use <br /> <br />L A shared parking area shall be located on a site with the same or <br />more intensive zone district classification than required for the <br />primary uses served. The maximum reduction in the number of <br />parking spaces required for all uses sharing the parking area shall <br />be 50%. <br /> <br />ii A shared parking request shall be submitted justifying the <br />feasibility of shared parking. Justification shall include <br />information concerning the size and type of the proposed <br />dcvelopment. the composition oftcnants. the anticipated rate of <br />parking tUrl1l>ver. and the anticipated peak parking and traffic loads <br />f(lr "II uses that will bc sharing on~street parking spaces. <br /> <br />IV. Dircctional signage complying with the requirements of this <br />chapter shall be added to direct the public to the shared parking <br />spaces. It is preferable for the employees of an establishment to <br />utilize these spaces. <br /> <br />v. A shared parking plan shall be enforced through written agreement <br />among all owners of record. An attested copy of the agreement <br />bdween the owners ofrecord must be recorded. A shared parking <br />agreemcnt may be revoked only if all required oft~street parking <br />spaces will be providcd in accordance with this chapter. <br /> <br />c. Less Intensive Use. A shared parking area may be located on a site with a <br />less intensive zoning district classification than rcquired for the primary <br />uses served. provided that: <br /> <br />I.
