<br />OROtMAKCE MO.2Q97-7~_ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,318 FROM <br />THE LIBRARY OF VIRGINIA AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE <br />FY 2007-2008 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT <br />COURT FOR DEED BOOK PRESERVATION. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I, That the City of Portsmouth accepts a grant in the amount of <br />$4,318 from the Library of Virginia and appropriates said amount in the FY <br />2007-2008 Grants Fund for use by the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Deed Book <br />preservation. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2007-2008 Grants <br />Fund is increased by $4,318. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />meeting held on July 24, 2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
