<br />OROIMAMCE 10. 2007-,.10_ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,000 <br />FROM THE BUSINESS CONSORTIUM FOR THE ARTS AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2007-2008 GRANTS FUND <br />FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF MUSEUMS FOR EXHIBITS AND <br />PROGRAMMING AT THE COURTHOUSE GALLERIES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts a grant in the amount of <br />$25,000 from the Business Consortium for the Arts and appropriates said amount <br />in the FY 2007-2008 Grants Fund for use by the Department of Museums for <br />Courthouse Galleries exhibits and programming. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2007-2008 Grants <br />Fund is increased by $25,000. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />meeting held on July 10,2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
