<br />b. Clearance <br /> <br /> <br />It is anticipated that efforts will be made to eliminate unhealthful and <br /> <br /> <br />unsafe conditions and improper environmental conditions. The Plan proposes residential uses <br /> <br /> <br />and the properties within the Project Area will be redeveloped for affordable residential <br /> <br /> <br />purposes. It is anticipated that only minimal demolition or clearance, if any, will be required at <br />this time. <br />7. Anticipated Funding Sources for ACQuistion of Property Desil,mated as "To be <br /> <br />ACQuired" bv this Plan <br /> <br />There are no properties being designated as "To Be Acquired" with this <br /> <br />Amendment. <br /> <br />8. Relocation Provisions <br /> <br />It is not anticipated that any family or business will be caused to relocate as a <br /> <br /> <br />result of the acquisition of the properties designated as "To Be Acquired" under the Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />Nevertheless, to the extent applicable, the Authority will comply with State and Federal laws <br /> <br /> <br />regarding relocation. Relocatees, if any, of the Project Area shall be given priority to relocate <br /> <br />within the Project Area. Listings from newspaper advertisements and realtors of available rental <br /> <br />units will be kept current by the Authority staff. <br />F. Procedure for Amendments to the Approved Plan <br /> <br />This Plan may be amended at any time, upon compliance with the requirements of all <br /> <br />applicable laws, by the Authority and the City Council of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br />G. Purpose of Amendment Number 1 <br /> <br />The purpose of Amendment Number 1 to the Centre Avenue Oak Street <br /> <br />Redevelopment Plan is to designate certain properties as "Not- To-Be-Acquired." <br /> <br />There were six properties designated as "To-Be-Acquired" with the original plan <br />11 <br />
