<br />R-06-34 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL OF A GROUP HOUSING USE <br />PERMIT (GHP-06-08) TO DAN E. GRIFFIN FOR FOUR RESIDENTIAL <br />TOWNHOUSE UNITS AT 4122-4130 GREENWOOD DRIVE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Dan E, Griffin, pursuant to Section 40-112 of the Code of the City <br />or Portsmouth. Virginia (1988), as amended, has made application for the approval and <br />granting of a group housing use permit for four residential townhouse units at 4122-4130 <br />Gr~~nwood Drive, POlismouth, Virginia; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, thc subject property is furthermore described as: <br /> <br />GHP-06-08 <br /> <br />Beginning approximately 104,85 feet east of the <br />int~rsection of Greenwood Drive and Clay Street along the <br />nOlihern right-of-way line of Greenwood Drive; thence <br />north approximately 167,57 feet to a point: thence east <br />approximately 43,58 feet to a point; thence southeast <br />approximately 128,03 feet to a point; thence southwest <br />approximately 59-43 to the nOlihcrn right of way line of <br />Grcenwood Drive; thence west approximately 100 feet <br />along the northern right-ot:way line of Greenwood Drive to <br />the point of beginning, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the Planning Commission has reviewed such application and site <br />plan submitt~d thcrewith and has recommended conditional approval of said application; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has been informed that approval of the group housing <br />project pursuant to Section 40-116 only grants an exemption from certain requirements <br />I()r resid~nces as stated in said section and does not constitute a waiver of any other <br />requiremCllt embodicd in the Subdivision Ordinance, Zoning Ordinance, Code of the City <br />or Portsmouth. Virginia, or any other applicablc local, state or fedcrallaw or regulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, thc applicant is aware that building permits and any other required <br />permit will be issued only upon compliance with the ordinances, laws or regulations <br />applicabk thereto, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1, That, coupled with the terms imposed by paragraph 2 hereof. the <br />f(lllowing conditions exist: <br />
