<br />IRDBIAHcE 111. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,087 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2006-2007 GRANTS FUND <br />BUDGET FOR LITTER PREVENTION AND CLEAN-UP. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts grant funds in the amount of <br />$14,087 from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and appropriates said <br />amount in the FY 2006-2007 Grants Fund Budget to be used for litter prevention and <br />clean-up. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenues in the FY 2006-2007 Grants Fund Budget are <br />increased by $14.087. <br /> <br />3.
