<br />oRDllWlCl-a 20~-90 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,500 FROM <br />THE PORTSMOUTH GENERAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2006-2007 GRANTS FUND <br />BUDGET FOR PHYSICAL FITNESS EQUIPMENT FOR FIREFIGHTERS. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts grant funds in the amount of <br />$2,500 from the Portsmouth General Hospital Foundation and appropriates said amount <br />in the FY 2006-2007 Grants Fund Budget to be used for physical fitness equipment for <br />firefighters. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenues in the FY 2006-2007 Grants Fund Budget are <br />increased by $2,500. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on September 26, 2006. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
