<br />aD\MNIl.1O 2006-86 <br />n' .. ~.- <br />U ... <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $98,723 FROM <br />THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, BUREAU OF JUSTICE <br />ASSISTANCE AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2006-2007 <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND OPERATING BUDGET FOR <br />JAIL DIVERSION SERVICES FOR THE MENTALLY ILL. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts grant funds in the amount of <br />$98,723 from the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance and <br />appropriates said amount in the FY 2006-2007 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund <br />Operating Budget to be used for jail diversion services for the mentally ill. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenues in the FY 2006-2007 Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services Fund Operating Budget are increased by $98,723. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on September 26,2006. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />--- <br />
