<br />uRIllfWD_- 20~-66 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,026 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING THE SAME AMOUNT IN THE FY 2006-2007 GRANTS <br />FUND FOR THE V-STOP PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That it accepts a grant from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice <br />Services in the amount of $48,026 for use by the Portsmouth Commonwealth's <br />Attorney's Office for the V -STOP Program. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of $48,026 is hereby appropriated in the FY 2006-2007 <br />Grants Fund. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2006-2007 Grants Fund are increased <br />by $48,026. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 25, 2006. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
