Rental Inspection Districts established; maps. <br /> <br />There are hereby established three rental inspection districts within the City of <br />Portsmouth. The boundaries of each of the districts shall be as shown on a series of three <br />maps entitled "Rental Inspection Districts Maps, Portsmouth, Virginia," dated July I, <br />2005, and any amendments thereto. The Rental Inspection District Maps shall be <br />considered parts of this division as if set out herein and may be amended in accordance <br />with section 17-94. <br /> <br />Sec. 17-94. Amendment of rental inspection ordinance or maps. <br /> <br />This division and the Rental Inspection Districts Maps may be amended only after <br />advertisement and public hearing in accordance with section 36-105.1:1 of the Code of <br />Virginia and any amendment thereto. <br /> <br />2. That Sections 17-71 through 17-76 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia (1988) are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />3. That a new Section 11.1-4 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />(1988) is hereby adopted and ordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 11.1-4. Rental Inspection Fees. <br /> <br />The following per unit fees shall apply to residential rental dwelling unit <br />inspections: <br /> <br />Initial Inspection............................................... .$40.00 <br /> <br />Follow-up Inspection (first)............................ ....No charge <br /> <br />Second and subsequent follow-up inspection.............. .$40.00 <br /> <br />Periodic Inspection............................................ ..$40.00 <br />
