That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Residential RM-60, the property <br />described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-05-07, is hereby amended and <br />changed so as to show said property zoned as Preservation P-1, and that said property is <br />hereby zoned as Preservation Pol. <br /> <br />2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being zoned from <br />Residential RM-60 to Preservation P-I is furthermore described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-05-07 <br /> <br />Beginning at the northeast corner of the intersection <br />of Crawford Parkway and Effingham Street, going thence <br />in a northerly direction 432 feet +/- to a point, thence in a <br />north-easterly direction 289 feet +/- to a point, thence in an <br />easterly direction 440 feet +/- to a point, thence in a <br />southerly direction 157 feet +/- to a point, thence in a <br />westerly direction 340 feet +/ - to a point, thence in a <br />northerly direction 48 feet +/- to a point, thence in a <br />westerly direction 50 feet +/- to a point, thence in a <br />southerly direction 90 feet +/- to a point, thence in a <br />westerly direction 90 feet +/- to a point, thence in a <br />southerly direction 150 feet +/- to a point, thence in an <br />easterly direction 128 feet +/- to a point, thence in a <br />southerly direction 594 feet +/- to a point, thence in a <br />westerly direction 457 feet +/- to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on June 14,2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
