<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />G~OINANCE NO.2005-41 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $160,000 IN THE FY 2004-2005 <br />OPERATING BUDGET GRANTS FUND IN RECOVERED COST REVENUE <br />FROM THE STATE COMPENSATION BOARD TO FUND ADDITIONAL <br />OPERATING COSTS AND AN ACTUARIAL STUDY BY THE VIRGINIA <br />RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That it hereby appropriates $160,000 in the FY 2004-2005 Operating <br />Budget Grants Fund for additional operating costs and to fund an actuarial study by the <br />Virginia Retirement System for the Sheriffs Office. <br /> <br />2. That the City's recovered cost revenue from the State Compensation <br />Board in the FY 2004-2005 Operating Budget Grants Fund is increased by $160,000. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on May 24, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
