<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Ui\UlNM~E NO.2005:-23 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO REPROGRAM $425,000 WITHIN THE 2004-2005 <br />GENERAL FUND FOR VARIOUS COMMITMENTS AND OPERATIONAL <br />COSTS ANTICIPATED THROUGH JUNE 30, 2005. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it has been determined that various City departments will require <br />additional funding in the amount of $425,000 to meet departmental commitments and <br />operational costs through June 30, 2005; and <br /> <br />2. That funds, as set out on the attached Schedule, have been identified <br />within the FY 2004-2005 General Fund as appropriate for reprogramming to meet those <br />needs; and <br /> <br />3. That reprogramming of funds totaling $425,000 within the 2004-2005 <br />General Fund Operating Budget as described above is in the best interest of the City; and <br /> <br />4. That the reprogramming of the funds for the purposes and in the manner <br />described above is hereby authorized pursuant to the requirements of City Code section <br />12-5; and <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on April 12, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
