The operator may <br />walk such moped through any intersection. <br /> <br />(b) Motorized push scooters shall not be operated on any street or highway <br />with a speed limit in excess of25 miles per hour; however, the operator may cross a <br />street or highway with a speed limit in excess of 25 miles per hour if the crossing is <br />signalized and begins and ends on a street with a speed limit of 25 miles per hour The <br />operator may walk such scooter through any intersection. <br /> <br />Sec. 22-708.1. Mopeds, motorized push scooters; age of operators. <br /> <br />No person under the age of 16 shall ride a moped or motorized push scooter on <br />any street within the city. A violation of this subsection shall constitute a traffic infraction <br />punishable by a fine of no more than $50.00. <br /> <br />Sec. 22-708.2. Motorized push scooters to be operated during daylight. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />No person shall operate a motorized "push scooter" as defined in section 22-1 on <br />any highways, city streets or public property between sundown and sunrise.
