<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ MO~005-70 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A COMMONWEAL Tn OF VIRGINIA OFFICE <br />OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$43,336 AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR <br />A NEW EMERGENCY SERVICES AMBULANCE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia Office of Emergency Services in the amount of $43,336 and <br />appropriates said amount in the Grants Fund for the purchase of a new Emergency <br />Services ambulance. <br /> <br />2. That the grant requires a 53% cash match by the City in the amount of <br />$48,664, which amount has been budgeted by the Department of General Services for <br />vehicle replacement. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund is <br />increased by $43,336. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on August 23,2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
