R-~)4-49 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DEED OF <br />CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY AT THE CHURCHLAND HIGH SCHOOL SITE TO <br />THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION A RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY TO THE CRANEY ISLAND <br />DEPOT. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the <br />City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute such deeds or other documents as <br />may be necessary to convey property at the Churchland High School site to the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia the Department of Transportation for a railroad right of way <br />to the Craney Island Depot, said property being described as follows: <br /> <br />5,599.00 s.f. or 0.1285 acres, more or less, as shown on "PLAT <br />SHOWING PROPERTY TO BE CONVEYED TO <br />COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA FOR DEPARTMENT <br />OF TRANSPORTATION, PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA," <br />dated December 13, 1991, prepared by Horton & Dodd, P.C., <br />Surveyors, Engineers & Planners, which copy of said plat is <br />attached hereto. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a meeting of the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia held on <br />September 28, 2004. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
