R-04-47 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF THE PORTSMOUTH <br />DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES' FY 2005 <br />PERFORMANCE CONTRACT TO THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, local community services boards are required by the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia to submit annually a "performance contract" to the <br />Commonwealth in order to receive State and Federal funding for mental health, mental <br />retardation and substance abuse services and programs for adults, youth and children; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth must approve the Portsmouth Department of <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services' Performance Contract for FY 2005 by September 15, <br />2004. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia that it hereby approves the Portsmouth Department of Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services' Performance Contract for FY 2005. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 14, 2004. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
