2. That new Sections 11.1-2 and 11.1-3 be adopted to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 11.1-2. Wetlands application fees. <br /> <br /> A nonrefundable fee of $50.00 for single-family dwellings and $150.00 for all <br />other uses shall be paid to the city treasurer for a permit for the use or development of <br />any wetland within the city under the provisions of Chapter 39. A receipt showing such <br />payment shall accompany each application for the same. The fee has been set by the city <br />council with due regard for the services to be rendered, including the time, skill and <br />administrator's expense involved. <br /> <br />Sec. ll.l-3. Subdivision application and review fees. <br /> <br /> The following fees shall be paid to the city treasurer upon the filing of an <br />application under Chapter 33. No application shall be considered complete unless <br />accompanied by a receipt showing payment of the applicable fee. <br /> <br />(a) Plat (subdivision or condominium): <br /> (1) Minor--Fifty dollars ($50.00) per application. <br /> (2) Major, preliminary--Ten dollars ($10.00) per dwelling unit with a <br /> minimum fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00); for land zoned <br /> commercial or industrial twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per lot with a <br /> minimum fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00). <br /> (3) Major, final--Ten dollars ($10.00) per dwelling unit with a minimum fee <br /> of one hundred dollars ($100.00); for land zoned commercial or industrial, <br /> twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per lot with a minimum fee of one hundred <br /> dollars ($100.00). <br />(b) Subdivision variance--Fifty dollars ($50.00) per application; <br />(c) Plat vacation--Fifty dollars ($50.00) per application; <br />(d) Modification, resubdivisions, relocation of lot lines--Fifty dollars ($50.00) per <br /> application; <br />(e) Modification without new lots or new improvements--Fifty dollars ($50.00) per <br />application. <br /> <br /> Where multiple applications are involved or where one application involves <br />multiple review, the fees shall be cumulative. The fees are processing fees and are <br />retained by the city regardless of any official action or decision or of any action taken by <br />the applicant. <br /> <br /> 3. That Sections 33-91, 39-84 and 40-151 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia (1988) be repealed. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
