ORDINANCE NO. 2003-28 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $22,419,052 IN THE CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT FUND AND $9,010,000 IN THE PUBLIC UTILITIES CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT FUND. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the sums of $22,419,052 in the Capital Improvement Fund and <br />$9,010,000 in the Public Utilities Capital Improvement Fund, be, and the same hereby <br />are, appropriated for expenditure in the following categories and amounts to implement <br />the 2003-2004 Capital Improvement Program: <br /> <br />Capital Improvement Fund: <br /> <br />Drainage and Slxeet Improvements $ 8,898,400 <br />Education $ 2,567,052 <br />Miscellaneous $ 218,600 <br />Municipal Facilities $10,735,000 <br /> <br />Total Capital Improvement Fund $22,419,052 <br /> <br />Public Utilities Capital Improvement Fund $ 9,010,000 <br /> <br /> 2.
