AN ORDINANCE ro APPROPRIATE $557,392 IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR <br />THE PURCHASE OF FIRE AND POLICE EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the sum of $557,392 be appropriated in the Grants Fund in the <br />following mounts and for the following purposes: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />$39,000 for the purchase of three defibrillator/monitors by the Fire <br />Department. The appropriation shall include a local cash match of <br />$19,500. <br /> <br />$78,626 for the purchase of an ambulance. The appropriation shall <br />include a local cash match of $46,304. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />$439,766 for the purchase of protective and response equipment for <br />domestic preparedness for Fire and Police Departments. There shall be no <br />local cash match. <br /> <br /> 2.
