DECLARATION OF MODIFIED EVACUATION CURFEW <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Va. Code §44-146.17 and Executive Order Fifty-six (03) of <br />Governor Mark R. Warner, and for the purpose of protecting public safety and <br />preservingCURFEW (thcPUbliC"curfew")°rder' I herebYas follows:declare and order a MODIFIED EVACUATION <br /> <br />The Curfew modifies and supersedes the Curfew previously issued on <br />September 19, 2003. <br /> <br />The Curfew shall be effective inmaediately. It shall be effective in all areas <br />of the City that are without power at any time the Curfew may be enforced, <br />and it shall not be effective in any other area. It shall remain in effect unless <br />and until rescinded or modified. <br /> <br />The hours of the Curfew shall <br />Curfew Period ). be between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM (the <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to be on any public street or in any public <br />way, or in any commercml parking lot or shopping area during the Curfew <br />Period, unless for one of the exceptions listed herein. <br /> <br />The exceptions to the Curfew shall be as follows: <br /> <br />Any law enforcement officer, fire/EMS official, member of the <br />National Guard, member of any branch of the military service of the <br />United States, physician or health care professional who is engaged in <br />the official performance of duty, or who is going to or from any <br />destination to commence or return from the official performance of <br />duty. <br />Any person going to or from work, or engaged in the performance of <br />his or her normal work, trade or occupation. <br /> <br /> <br />
