AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $244,208 IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR <br />THE 2003 LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT (LLEBG) #7 <br />PROGRAM TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR PUBLIC SAFETY IN <br />SUPPORT OF NEIGHBORHOOD QUALITY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the sum of $244.208 be approphated in the Grants Fund to support <br />the 2003 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant (LLEBG) #7 Program for public safety in <br />support of neighborhood quality; and <br /> <br /> 2. That the sole source of these funds is the United States Depanment of <br />Justice. <br /> <br /> 3.
