Section 1: - That the Council of the City of Portsmouth hereby endorses the <br />construction as soon as feasible of the six major projects included in the referendum as <br />critical elements for the future travel and commerce needs of the region. <br /> <br /> Section 2: - That the Council of the City of Portsmouth hereby endorses and <br />pledges to support passage of the regional transportation referendum on November 5, <br />2002. <br /> <br /> Section 3: - That the Council of the City of Portsmouth hereby endorses giving <br />the citizens of the City of Portsmouth and the Hampton Roads region the opportunity to <br />vote to pass the transportation referendum on November 5, 2002. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on May 28, 2002. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
