R-02-52 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EMERGENCY RAW WATER SALES <br />CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF NORFOLK. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized, acting for and on behalf of the City, to execute and enter into an <br />Emergency Raw Water Sales Contract with the City of Norfolk, substantially the same as the <br />contract which is attached hereto. <br /> <br /> The City Manager is further authorized to take all further steps and actions reasonably <br />necessary to implement the contract, to perform all duties and responsibilities contemplated <br />therein, and to grant such further assurances and execute such further instruments as may be <br />needed for this purpose. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />September 24, 2002. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
