Reinstated Firemen and Policemen. <br /> <br /> A~y Fireman er Poiic~an who is reinstated within one year <br />after he has left the employment of the City shall receive compensation accordinE <br />to the class in which he is placed not to exceed, however, the r~te of pay he <br />would receive had he not left the employment of the City. <br /> <br />Section 8. OVertime. <br /> <br /> Firemen and Policemen whose rate of pay is fixed on a monthly <br />basis shall not receive any compensation for extra or overtime work, excep~ in <br />cases of emergency. Any exzra c~npensation allowed must be approved in advance <br />of the performance of the ~ork by the Chief of each department with the approval <br />of the City N~ar~ger and must be eRtered by the Chief on the ~ext succeeding pay- <br />roll submitted to the City Auditor. <br /> <br />Section 9. Salary Adjustments. <br /> <br /> Salary adjustments s~ll become effective on the first day of <br />the month following the anniversary date of employment, provided no employee shall <br />receive more t~an one increase ~n cc~spensation during any o~e year of employment. <br /> <br /> <br />
