Any person failing to comply with this section shall <br />forfeit, or be liable to a fine of zwenty dollars. <br /> <br /> Article IV (C) o City Treasurer. <br /> <br />Sec. 8-1.42. Duty to collect and raceive revenue, etcc <br /> <br /> Subject to the supervision of the Director of Finance in all matters per- <br />taining to funds of the city. the City Treasurer shall collect and receive all taxes, <br />levies, assessments, licenses taxes, fees, accounts, claims, finest costs and all <br />other revenue or monies accruing to the city, except as may be otherwise especially <br />provided by the ordinances of the city. <br /> <br />Sec. 8-1o43o Deputy City Treasurers. <br /> <br /> The City Treasurer shall have in his office one or more Deputy City Trea- <br />surers, who, in the absence or disability of the City Treasurer, shall act in his <br />stead, and the City Treasurer and his sureties shall be responsible for the ac~s of <br />such deputies while in the performance of such duties° <br /> <br /> Sec° 8-1~44. Accounts. <br /> <br /> The City Treasurer shall keep an accurate account of all cash receipts and <br />disbursements, and shall not make payment of any sums except tn accordance with the <br />provisions of Section 8-1o8 of this code. The system of accounts, receipt forms and <br />procedures employed with respect to funds of the city shall confoz~n ~o regulations <br />promulgated by th~ Director of Finance. <br /> <br /> ~rticte IV (D) o Delinquent Tax Collector. <br /> <br /> Division 1. In General. <br /> <br />Sec. 8-1.45. Appointment; duties; deputies and assistants; bond. <br /> <br /> Until the council shall otherwise provide, there shall be appointed by the <br />City ~anager a Delinquent Tax Collector. The duties of said collector shall be such <br />as are now or may hereafter be prescribed by ordinmalce and by the Director of Finance. <br />Said collector shall have such number of deputies and clerical assistants as may be <br />necessary to properly collect delinquent city taxes° <br /> <br /> <br />
