AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE CERTAIN PORTIONS OF PEARL, MAU~PIN ~ND <br />PARKER STREETS WITHIN ~IE SITE OF THE NEW BRIGHTON ELEMENTARY <br />SCHOOL <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that <br />the hereinafter/portions of Pearl, .~t%upin and Parker Streets, which lie with- <br />in the site of the new Brighton School, be, and the same are, hereby vacated <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Pearl ?treet- frDm the north side of Argyle Street to <br />a point ?5°5 feet south of the south side of Jefferson <br />Street° <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Maupin Street - from a point 250 feet west of the west <br />side of Pine Street and extending in a westerly direction <br />~o a point 105 feet east of the east side of Elm Avenue. <br /> <br />(e) <br /> <br />Parker Street - from a point 250 feet wes~ of the west <br />side of Pine Street and ex~ending in a westerly direction <br />to a point 255 feet east of the east side of Elm Avenue. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth a~ a meeting held on <br />April 12, 1960o <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
