AN ORDINANCE TO ~ SECTION 30-140 OF THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1951, A.S AMENDED, TO MAKE <br />THAT PORTION OF QUEEN' STREEI BETWEEN SECOND AVENUE AND <br />FIFTH AV~IUE A TWO-WAY STREET. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />that Section 30-t40 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />amended, be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Virginia, <br />1951, as <br /> <br />Section 30-140. Queen Street between Crawford Street and Second <br /> <br /> Queen Street between Crawford Street and Second Avenue is hereby <br />designated a one-way street, tt shall be unlawful for any person to drive <br />any vehicle west on Queen Street between Crawford Street and Second Avenue. <br /> <br /> This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public <br />health, morals, and safety an emergency is declared to exist and it shall take <br />effect from its passage. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />meeting held October 17, 1961. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />
