AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE A PORTION OF COLL~MBIA STREET <br />BEGINNING APPROXIMATELY SIXTY FEET WEST OF ITS IN- <br />TERSECTION WITH FREDERICK BOULEVARD A~ND AIRLINE <br />BOULEVARD ~ND EXTENDING EASTWARD TO ~L~T INTERSEC- <br />TI(AN. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />that that portion of Columbia Street beginning at a point on the centerline <br />of Lot 8 in Block 155 as sho%~ on the plat of the Virginia Realty and In- <br />vestment Company, Map Book 7, ~ages 98, 99 and 100, Norfolk County Circuit <br />Court, which point is approximately sixty feet west of the intersection of <br />the north line of Columbia Street and the western line of Frederick Boule- <br />vard and Airline Boulevard. and extending thence in an easterly direction <br />to its intersection with Frederick Boulevard and Airline Boulevard be, and <br />the same is, hereby closed and vacated as a public streeT, reserving unto <br />the City of Porfsmouth~ however, the perpetual easement, right and privilege <br />to maintain, operate and replace all public utility lines now situate within <br />the area so closed and vacated. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />meeting held on July 11, 1961. <br /> <br />Virginia, a~ a <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />
