such mznor to forthwith proceed to his home or place of abode; and should such <br />minor refuse or fail so to do, the officer shall take such minor to his home or <br />place of abode should he deem such advisable. <br /> <br /> (4) Should any such minor refuse to give such officer his name and address <br />or the name and address of his parent, guardian or other adult person having the <br />care and custody of such minor, such officer shall take such minor To police head- <br />quarters and there detain him until such time as he can be turned over to the offi- <br />cers o£ the juvenile and domestic relations court of the city to be dealt with in <br />the manner required by law. <br /> <br /> (5) Every person who violates any of the provisions of this section, or <br />who ahall fail to proceed forthwith to his home or place of abode when so ordered <br />by such officer, or who shall knowingly give a false name or false address ~o such <br />officer shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than five dollars nor <br />more than one hundred dollars, and each such violation shall constitute a separane <br />offense. <br /> <br /> This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />morals, and safety, an emergency is declared ~o exist and it shall take effect from <br />its passage. <br /> <br />1961. <br /> <br />Adopted at a meeting of the City Council of Portsmouth held on June 27, <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
