adjacent to such meter is or is not legally in used The parking meters shall <br />be installed and set To display upon deposit of the following coins of the <br />United States a signal indicating legal parking for the following periods, and <br />the parking space shall then be legally occupied by the mozor vehicle during <br />such respective periods: <br /> <br /> (a) In Edinburgh Square Parking Lot, King Square Parking <br /> Lot and Proctor Square Parking Lot: <br /> <br /> A ten cent coin for a one hour period° <br /> Two ten cent comns for a two hour period° <br /> Three ten cent coins for a three hour period. <br /> <br /> (b) In Municipal Square Parking Lot: <br /> <br /> i five cenz coin for a one hour period. <br /> Two five cent coins for a ~wo hour period. <br /> <br /> (c) In Dinwiddie Square Parkip~ Lot: <br /> A zen cent coin for a Two hour period° <br /> <br /> This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />morals and safety, an emergency is declared to exist and it shall take effect <br />from its passage° <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting <br />held on February 28, 1961. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
