AN ORDIN[uNCE TO CLOSE P(/RTiONS OF WATER <br />STREETs NORTH STREET~ CRAWFORD STREET, <br />EASTWOOD LANE~ AND MIDDLE STREET. <br /> <br /> Be it ~rdained by the Council Df the City of Portsmouth~ <br />Virginia~ that the following portions of streets be~ and the same are <br />hereby closed and vacated as public streees: <br /> <br /> (1) ~ater Streets from the north line of Glasgow Street rs <br />the south line of North Street~ <br /> [2) North Street, from the east line of Crawford Street to <br />its eastern terminus ~n the Elizabeth River. <br /> (3) Crawford Street~ from its northern terminus in the <br />Elizabeth River south to a line described as follows: beginning at s <br />point on the eastern line of Crawford Street distant 95.83 feet and bea~xng <br />north 3~33~t5'* west from the northeast corner of Crawford and North Streets~ <br />and running thence ~n s northwesterly direction alcng a curve to the left <br />with a radius of 621.88 feet ~o a point on the western line of Crawford <br />Street as now platted. <br /> (4) Eastwood Lane~ from its northern terminus in the Elizabeth <br />River south to a westerly projection of the northern line of property :o <br />the east thereof o~med by Virginia Electric and Power Company, <br /> (S) Middle Street~ from its northern terminus in thc Elizabeth <br />River south to a westerly projection of the northern tine of prooer~y to <br />the east thereof owned by Virginza Electric anu Power Company~ <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia~ <br />at a meeting held June 12~ i962~ <br /> <br />City Clerk, <br /> <br /> <br />
