Before being placed on location for use By the public, <br />each coin machine must have the proper license attached <br />thereto. The license required by this section may be trans- <br />ferred from one coin machine to another such machine of the <br />same type, provided neither machine has been placed on location <br />for use by the public° <br /> <br /> After being placed, on location, the license card or license <br />ate shat1 always be displayed on and attached to such machine, <br />and any person having such a machine oh his premises or in his <br />possession without having such license plate displayed on the <br />coin machine, shall be subject to a fine of $10.00, and each day~:! <br />shall constitute a separateviolation thereof. <br /> <br />This license is not proratable. <br /> <br />(b) Every person selling~ Leasing, renting or otherwise <br />furnishing a coin-operated machine or device operated on the <br />coin-in-the-slot principle, or placing such a machine or device <br />with others shall be deemed to be a coin machine operator. <br />Every such operator as herein defined shall pay an annual license <br />tax of $500.00. The license tax imposed by this subsection <br />not in lieu of, but is in addition to the other license taxes <br />imposed by this section. This license shall not be <br />or transferable. <br /> <br /> The coin machine operator's license tax levied by this <br />subsection shall not be applicable to operators of weighing <br />machines, automatic baggage or parcel checking machines or <br />receptacles, nor to vending machines which are so constructed <br />as to do nothing but vend merchandise or postage stamps or <br />provide service only, nor tO operators of coin-operated musical <br />machines or musical devices that operate on the coin-in-the-slot <br />principle~ nor to operators of viewing machines or photomat <br />machines, nor to opera,ors of devices or machines affording <br />rides to children or for the delivery of newspapers. <br /> <br /> Every operator who is required by this subsection to take <br />out a license as a coin machine operator shall furnish a complete <br />list of all machines on location and the names and addresses of <br /> mf the ReVenue upon request. <br /> <br /> <br />
