IBGINIA. 1961, BY AMERrDING SECTION 9-12 SO AS TO ADOPT <br />THE NATI0~AL ELECTRICAL C~E, 1962, ~ BY ~DING S~TI~ <br />9-13 SO AS ~ ~UIRE ~T COPIES OF ~ ~QUIR~TS OF <br />~E CODE ADO~ BY S~TI~ 9-12 BE ~DE AVAI~ TO ~ <br /> ~ ~ CI~ ~G~. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmouth. <br />Virginia, that sections 9-12 and 9-13 of the Code of the <br />City of P°rtsmouth~ Virginia, 1961~ be amended and reordained <br />to read as follows, <br /> <br /> Sec. 9-12o National Board of Fire Underwriters' <br /> Electrical Code--Adoption <br /> <br /> All electrical construction and all material and ap- <br /> pliances used in connection with electrical work. and the <br /> operation of all electric~I apparatus within the city shall <br /> ~o~f6~ ~o Re L'~es and requirements of the National <br /> Electrical Code, 1962, as amended, a.~dopted by the National <br /> Fire ProtectionAssociation for the installation of <br /> wiring and apparatus for electrical purposes, which rules <br /> and requirements are hereby adopted and approved and made <br /> a park of this Code as fully as if e~ery wol~i~ clause, <br /> phrase~ sentence, sgction ~nd part thereof were printed <br /> herein, provided, that such rules and requirements are <br /> Rot in conflict with tke laws of the state or the ordinances <br /> of the city. <br /> <br /> Sec. 9-13.
