PARCEL NO. 1 A Beginning at the southwest corner of Race StFeet and Green Street, as same existed prior o vacation of a portion of Green Street by ordinance adopted October 10, 1961, and running thence along the western lin~ of Green Street, as formerly platted, in a southerly direction 25 feet to, the property line of Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority; thence in awesterly direction parallel with the southern line of Race Street and along the property line of said Authority, 10S feet tO a point; thence in a northerly direction para] with the said western line of Green Street 25 feet to the southern line of Race Street; thence in an easterly direction along the southern line of Race Street 105 feet' to the point of beginning; together with the interest of the City of Portsmouth in and portion of Green Street accruing to the aforesaid parcel of land by virtue of.the said ordinance vacating the same as a public street; the said parcel' of land being a part of the property acquired by the City of Portsmouth by deed of Seaboard Air Line ~ompany, et als, dated November 20, ~925, recorded zn the Clerk's Office of the Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth in Deed Book 92B, page 520; SUBJECT, HOWEVER, to a perpetual easement reserved unto the City of Portsmouth, its successors and assigns, lot the continued operation, maintenance 'and replacement of a 36 ~nch' cast iron sewer, force main, located as' shown on the plat entitled Sketc~ 'Showing Existing $6" Cast Iron Porce ~in Across C~ty Owned Lot S. ~. Corner Green and Race Streets", dated September 20, 1962, prepared by the Department of Public Works Portsmouth, Virginia, said easement bein in width, extending 10 feet outward line of said force main.
