.~N ORDINANCE TO CLOSE THAT PORTION OF WEST~qORELAND A~NUE LYING SOLrFH <br />OF THE SObTHERN BOUNDARY OF BART STREET~ <br /> <br /> ~IEREAS~ by resolution of this Council~ adopted November 12~ <br />1965, viewers were appointed pursuant to section tS-766 of the Code of <br />Virginia, 19S0, as amended, tc view the hereinafter described street, <br />and to report in writing whether in their opinion, any and if any, <br />inconvenience would result from discontinuing the hereinafter described <br />street; and <br /> <br /> ~{EREAS, the said viewers have reported in writing that in <br />their opinzon no inconvenzence would result from closing and discontinuing <br />said street~ <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT ORDAINED by the Comncit of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that that pol~tion of Westmoreland Avenue lying <br />between the southern boundary of Ba~ Street and a line 108.5 feet south <br />thereof ~, and the sam~ is hereby closed and vacated as a public street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virgin~ <br />m~et~ng held December 2~, 1963. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
