AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE TiiAT PORTION OF LEONARD AVENUE LYING SO~J~.{ 03- <br />THE SOb~IiERN R!GIT-OF-?~AY LiNE OF PO.~Sb~Ob?,i BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by resolution of this Council, adooted November 26, <br />t963, viewers were apFointed pursuant to seczior. !$-766 of the Code of <br />V~rginla~ I930, as amended, to view the hereinafter described street, <br />ann to report in writing whether in their opinion, any and if any, what <br />inconvenience would result from discontinuing the heminafter described <br />street; and <br /> <br /> WHE?gAE, the said viewers have reported in writing that in <br />their opinion no inconvenxence would result frem closing and discontinuing <br />said street. <br /> <br /> NOW, T}iERZFORE, BE 1T ORDAINED by the Council !of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginza~ that that portion of Leonard Avenue lying between <br />the southern, right-of-way line of Portsmouth Boulevard as sno~m on the <br />plmns of Portsmouth Boulevard, Route 337, Project 0337-~24-t0!C, ~nd a <br />tine 135 feet south thereof be, and the same is hereby olosed and vacated <br />~s a public street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of PortsmoUth, <br />a meeting held December 23~ 1963, <br /> <br />Virgin~a. at <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
