Sec. 9. ~nnual report. <br /> <br /> The committee shall make an annual report to the City Council <br />concerning its activities during the year. <br /> <br />Sec~ 10~ Duties. <br /> <br /> The committee shall learn about the nature and extent of <br />deficiencles resulting fr~m blight and deterioration and the m~ans <br />and methods for remedying them~ shall make recommendations for <br />improvement~ and shall inform other citizens and groups of the <br />need for such improvement for the purpose of developing united <br />community understanding and remedial action. The committee shall <br />perform such other duties as may be assigned it by the City Council. <br /> <br /> This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public <br />health~ morals, and safety~ an emergency is declared to exist and this <br />ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />meeting held January 14, 1964. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
