;uN ORDIN;~NCE TO AMEND SECTION 107.4 OF THE BUILDING CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOLr~t, 1965, ESTABLISHING A NEW SCHEDULE OF ¥~VING PERi, IT FEES. Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Section 107.4 of the Building Code of the City of Portsmouth, 1963, be amended and reordained to read as follows: 107.4. Schedule of Permit Fees. The fees for all permits required by this code shall be paid at the time of filing the application and in accordance with the following schedule: (a) Construction - general. {1) Residential (A) For 100 square fee~ up to and including 1,000 square feet, the fee shall be $5.00 per hundred square feet or fraction thereof. For 1,000 square feet up to and including 2.~000 square feet, the fee shall be $S0.00 for the firs~; 1,000~ square feet plus $$.7S per hundred square feet o~ fraction there- of. (2) (C) For 2,000 square :feet or more, the fee shall be $87.50 for the first 2~000 square feet plus $2.80 per hundred square feet or fraction thereof, without limit. Business (A) For 100 square feet up to and including t,000 square feet, the fee shall be $5.00 per hundred square feet or fraction thereof. For 10,000 square feet or more, the 'fee shall be $237,50 for the first 10,000 square feet plus $1.20 per hUndred square feet or fraction thereof, without limit.
