Sec. 9-48. Applicants for Jourueym~u Certificate. Applicants for the Journeyman Electrician Certificate ~ast have had four years experience in electrical work and have & thorough understanding of electrical installation mud the City of Portsmouth Electrical Code. Sec. 9-49. Applicants for Maintenance Electrician. Applicants for tho Maintenance Electrician Certificate must be regularly er~ployed to maintain and m~<e minor repairs to the electrical wiring, apparatus, and equipment which is installed, contained and used on the premises or in buildings o~ed~ occ%Tied or controlled by'the person, firm or co~poration by whom the zaintenance electrician is employed. Sec. 9-50. Bonds of Electrical Contractors and Master Electricians. Every Master Blectrician doing etectricel work within the City of Portsmouth shall give a bond of ~*'o Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars in the form approved by the City Attorney~ payable to the City with surety conditioned to inder~nity ~ld save harmless the City as well as any other person from all expense and d~mage that may be caused by any negligent, defective or inadequate work done in the City under their said certificate and to secure the payment of fees Mud permzts.
