(a) ffeitlner the lessor nor the lessee is a comz.~on <br />carrier by motor vehicle or restricted common carrier <br />by motor vehicle or contract c~rier by rao~or vehicle <br />as defined in § 56-273 of 2he Code; mod <br /> (b) Toe leased motor Yehicie, trailer or sermi- <br />trailer is used exclusively for the transportation of <br />property of the lessee; and <br /> (c) The lessor is not, employed in any capacity by <br />the lessee; and <br /> (d) The operator of th~ leased motor vehicle is <br />a bona fide employee of the lessee and is not employed <br />in any capacity by the lessor; and <br /> (e) A true copy of such lease, verified by affi- <br />davit of the lessor, is filed with the Corm~issioner. <br /> <br /> (40) Vehicle. Every device in, upon or by which <br />any person or property is or m~- be ~ransported or <br />dra~¢a~ upon a high,ray, except devices moved by human <br />p~,ver or used exclusively upon stationary rails or <br />tracks. (Code l~51, § ~0-t.) <br /> <br />Sec. 18-27. Signals by lights or ser,~phores. <br /> <br />Signals by lights or sem~ohores shall be as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) Red indicates that traffic then ~mvir~ shall <br />stbp and remain stooped as lo~ as the red signal is <br />shom~, except in the direction indicated by a li~ted <br />green arrow. Green indicates ~hat traffic shall then <br />move in the direction of the si~aai and remain in mo- <br />tion as long as the green signal is given. <br /> (b) ~mber indicates that a c~muge is about to be <br />made in the direction of the moving of traffic. P~uen <br />the ~aber si~ual is shown, traffic which has nov already <br />entered the intersection, including the crosswalks, shall <br />stop but that which has entered the intersection shall <br />continue to move until the intersection has been en- <br />tireiy cleared. <br /> (c) ~e use of a flashing red light ~dicates <br />that traffic shall stop before entering, the intersection. <br /> (d) Officers of the law may assu~ control of traf- <br />fic otherwise controlled by lights or semaphores and <br />in such event signals by such officers shall take pre- <br />cedence over such light or semaphores. <br /> <br />'8 <br /> <br /> <br />
