AN ORDINANCE TO A~END ~E CODE OF TttE CITY OP <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1961, BY ADDING THERETO <br />NEM SECTIONS NU~BERHD 18-89.1 AND 18-89.2 <br />MAKING PARTS OP BELMONT AVENUE-AND CAVALIER <br />BOULEVARD ONE-MAY STREETS. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of <br /> Portsmouth, Virginia, that the Code of the City of <br /> Portsmouth, Virginia, 1961, be amended by adding <br /> thereto new sections numbered;18-89.1 and 18-89.2 <br />:to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 18-89.1. <br /> <br />Belmont Avenue From the ~offett <br />Elementary School to its western <br />terminus. <br /> <br /> Belmont Avenue between the~driveway to the <br />Moffett Elementary School and ,its western terminus <br />is hereby designated a one-wa?street. It shall be <br />unlawful for any person to drive any vehicle east on <br />Belmont Avenue between the driveway to the Moffett <br />Elementary School and its western terminus. <br /> <br /> Sec. 18-89.2. Cavalier Boulevard between <br /> Pocahontas Street and Rapidan <br /> Street. <br /> <br /> Cavalier Boulevard between Pocahontas Street and <br />Rapidan Street is hereby designated a one-way street. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to drive west on <br />Cavalier Boulevard between Pocahontas Street and Rapidan <br />Street, ~ <br /> <br /> This ordinance being necessary for the preser- <br />vation of the public health, morals and safety, an <br />emergency is declared to exist and it shall take <br />effect from and after its passage. <br /> <br /> Adopted:by the Council of ~he City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held August 25, 1964.. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br /> <br />
