ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF %~r]g CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, APPROVING THE REDEVELOPI~r PI~ AS AFF~IDED BY AMENDFENT NO. 4 FOR FO~T NELSON PLACE PROJEC? NO. VA R-6. ~EREAS, by ordinance adopted December 3, 1959, the Coancil of the City of Portsmouth approved a Redevelopment Plan for the For~ Nelson Place Project, designated as Project VA R-6, and amended by resolution by Council on November 13, 1962, and December 27, 1962, and by o.-xiinance on February llj 1964, known as ~mendFents No. 1, 2 and 3 respectively. ~4EREAS, in accordance with Section F of the said Plan, it so provides that said Redevelopment Plan may be amended by the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority with the consent of the City Council; and )g~EREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority in undertaking the execution of Project No. VA R-6 has found it necessary to make rminor changes to said Redevelopment Plan with respect to Parcels No. 5 and No. 8; and WHEREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority has approved the changes to the Redevelopment Plan by resolution which Plan dated June, 1965, together ~rith said resolution has been referred to City Council for review and approval and the City Council has duly con- sidered said Redevelopment Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAff~NED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, as follows: 1. That said Redevelopment Plan, as amended, dated June, 1965, for the Project aforementioned, having been duly reviewed and considered, is hereby approved. 2. That the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to file said copy of said Redevelopment Plan with the minutes of this meeting.
